Activities
Our activities take place during the day and children are welcome at all events. Following are some activities that we offer:
- Book Club - moms discuss a selected book while the children play
Breakfast/Coffee Time - meet at an area restaurant/Dunkin' Donuts for coffee and conversation
Business Meetings - we meet once/month to discuss club happenings
Indoor Playdates - we go to Chuck E. Cheese, play area at a local mall, and other indoor play areas
Lunch Bunch - lunch at local kid friendly establishments
MOMS Night Out - dinner, pool party, spa night, movie time, etc.
Open Playdates - meet at a member's home so the kids can play and the moms can chat
Park Days - join other moms and their kids for some fun outdoors
Playgroups - small groups based on children's age, meeting weekly from October to mid-June
Recipe Exchange - Bring a favorite dish to share along with the recipe
Special Events - visits to firehouse, strawberry patch, apple orchard and pumpkin patch; Easter Egg Hunt, family picnic and Halloween Party
Story Time - visit local Barnes & Noble for story time with coffee time before or lunch afterwards
Opportunities for Involvement
We offer many opportunites for moms to get involved in our chapter. No one is required to participate in these, but many do.
Big Sister Program - new members are paired with a "Big Sister" to help them get acclimated to the group
Fundraisers - we do various fundraisers during the year to raise money for worthy causes
Meals for Moms - prepare meals for moms with new babies or any mom in need
Service Projects - we perform various service projects throughout the year
